The Arkleston Singers
Rehearsals
The Arkleston Singers rehearse from September to May at Paisley North Church, in Abercorn St, Paisley.
Rehearsals take place from 7:30 to 9:30pm on alternate Monday evenings over most of the season. They become weekly as the concert date draws near. The atmosphere is relaxed, but purposeful.
Our Musical Director, Marcus Kitchen, normally starts rehearsals by taking us through voice warm-up exercises and giving us vocal training. Chris Nickol provides our piano accompaniment.
Members are encouraged to prepare at home for the upcoming rehearsal and so Marcus will often give us a note of the music he is planning for the next week.
